The renovation covered all 260 rooms and suites, executive lounge, lifts, lobby, corridors, meeting facilities and the Italian restaurant La Traviata."We are delighted with the end product and it gives me an enormous sense of pride to see the hotel open again and on time. The first guest who checked in was a repeat guest and he was extremely impressed with the changes, a sentiment which has been echoed regularly in the last week," said David Thomson, General Manager of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & SpaJebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa
. "It is very satisfying to have the Resort now complete with both Jebel Ali Hotel and Palm Tree Court & Spa open for the festive period with great rates available to experience the new product."The new guest rooms have been completely refurbished and transformed with the addition of sleek new dark wood furniture, contemporary colours and technological enhancements. Other public areas of the hotel enjoyed similar attention, including the Peacock Lounge where guests in premium room categories can enjoy breakfast and light snacks during the day.
Jebel Ali Hotel's new conference centre now comprises six fully equipped meeting rooms that can accommodate conferences for up to 700 guests with the latest technology in communication techniques, audio and visual aids.

The 128-acre Jebel Ali Golf Resort & SpaJebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa
features two hotels, namely the original Jebel Ali Hotel and the 5 star Palm Tree Court & Spa. In addition to its 9-hole championship standard golf course, the Resort also comprises an 800 metre private beach, three swimming pools, 14 restaurants and bars, horse riding stables, diving centre and a 80-berth marina for fishing trips, boat charters and seaplane flights. A handpicked selection of Elemis and MD treatments can be enjoyed at The Spa.About Jebel Ali Hotel
Originally opened in 1981 Jebel Ali Hotel was the first hotel to be built in the beach Resort now known as Jebel Ali Golf Resort & SpaJebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa
. Over the next decade and a half the Resort facilities gradually grew as horse riding stables and a private marina were added in addition to the Jebel Ali Shooting Club, which opened in 1995 and later hosted the World Shotgun Championships. The 9-hole championship standard golf course, the only 9-hole course to have been played by the world's greatest golfers then opened in 1998. Palm Tree Court, the Resort's second hotel featuring suites and junior suites, opened in the same year to which was added a world class spa in 2003. In 2005 two state-of-the-art football pitches were added to the sporting facilities at the Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence which rapidly became the preferred warm weather training centre for many top European clubs.
The Resort further expanded its facilities in 2007 when it commissioned a Bio Garden as an environmental experiment to grow its own fresh quality produce and help reduce the Resort's carbon footprint. Originally started with an area of just 120sqm, the Bio Garden is now over 1,000sqm and has resulted in the Resort being self-sufficient for all its herbal requirements and a fair amount of vegetables. The fresh ingredients are currently included on the menu at the award-winning Signatures restaurant, which was launched in 2008 as a contemporary dining venue serving 'cuisine with a conscience'.
In 2009 a dive centre operated by Al Boom Diving was added, which follow in the footsteps of Seawings who has operated seaplane flights from the Resort's marina since 2007.
