British Airways Barclaycard customers to earn double miles on all spend through January 31, 2010 and enjoy other benefits such as generous introductory offer and BA Miles reward United Arab Emirates (UAE), 21 November 2009 - British Airways and Barclays BankBarclays Bank
announce the launch of a new promotion for holders of the British Airways Barclaycard. From now through January 31, 2010, card holders will earn double the usual amount of BA Miles for all purchases. This means that customers can earn up to two BA Miles for every $1.50 spent* on everyday items and up to four BA Miles per $1.50 spent* on any flights on ba.com when using British Airways Prestige Barclaycard. This generous offer is designed to reward loyal customers and encourage new applicants to sign up for the British Airways Barclaycard and is managed by The Mileage Company, operators of British Airways BA Miles rewards.
Key card benefits include: double BA Miles for local and overseas spend with British Airways Barclaycard from November 1, 2009 until January 31, 2010; four BA Miles for every $1.50 spent on any flight booked at ba.com with the British Airways Prestige Barclaycard and three BA Miles for every $1.25 spent using the British Airways Priority Barclaycard, from November 1, 2009 until January 31, 2010; 20,000 BA Miles rewarded with the first ba.com flight booking from the UAE to London by the card holder flown within the first three months of the account opening; and a welcome gift for new customers of 10,000 BA Miles for British Airways Prestige Barclaycard holders and 5,000 BA Miles for British Airways Priority Barclaycard holders.
This promotion makes it easier than ever for holders of the British Airways Barclaycard to earn miles and use them to enjoy special privileges such as cabin upgrades and reward flights to any destination on the British Airways network.
Following the promotional period and beginning February 1, 2010, British Airways Prestige Barclaycard holders will once again be able to earn a generous one BA Mile for every $1.50 spent on everyday purchases and two BA Miles for every $1.50 spent on ba.com. British Airways Priority Barclaycard holders will earn .75 BA Mile for every $1.25 spent on everyday purchases and 1.5 BA Miles per $1.25 spent on ba.com.

Terms and Conditions for Double BA Miles Offer:
The promotional period (the "Offer Period") for Double BA Miles Offer (the "Offer") is valid from November 1, 2009 to January 31, 2010.
Qualifying transactions made within the Offer Period using the British Airways Prestige or Priority Barclaycard ("Credit Card") are entitled to additional BA Miles as shown below: British Airways Barclaycard Miles earned on everyday spend Double BA Miles earned Miles earned on ba.com Double BA Miles earned Prestige 1 BA mile spent per $1.5 spent 2 BA Miles per $1.5 spent 2 BA Miles per $1.5 spent 4 BA Miles per $1.5 spent Priority .75 BA Mile per $1.25 spent 1.5 BA Miles per $1.25 spent 1.5 BA Miles per $1.25 spent 3 BA Miles per $1.25 spent
Qualifying transactions for the Offer includes retail transactions and Octopus AAVS amount only, but excludes the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, "Jetso Installment" amount, "Cash-in Plan" amount, balance transfer amount, bill payment, tax payment, interest-free installment amount, bank handling fees (including annual fee, financial charges, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transaction, unposted / cancelled / transactions eventually returned and all unauthorized transactions.
The additional BA Miles earned will be automatically credited by March 2010 to the Executive Club Account of the British Airways Prestige and Priority Barclaycard Cardholder (Cardholder). The BA Miles earned by Principal Cardholder and Supplementary Cardholders will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's account. The Cardholder's Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of mile credit.
