DWTC CEO Says World's First Full-Time Full High-Definition TV in Middle East Highlights Importance of New Innovation Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Thousands of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK enthusiasts, and a host of regional media, from across the Middle East had the privilege of experiencing PanasonicPanasonic
's breakthrough 3D technology, in what GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK organiser, Dubai World Trade CentreDubai World Trade Centre, has called an important technology presentation for the region. PanasonicPanasonic, the market and technology leader in HDTV, is showcasing the world's first Full HD 3D Plasma Home Theater System at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2009 in Dubai.

PanasonicPanasonic's Full HD 3D Plasma Home Theater System enables the viewing of true-to-life Full HD 3D images by using a PanasonicPanasonic 103-inch Plasma HDTV and a PanasonicPanasonic Blu-ray Disc (BD) player, capable of distributing Full High Definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) for both eyes.

Through technological advancements in transport bandwidth and storage media, consumer 3D entertainment is now capable to deliver true High Definition picture. Using a special pair of active shutter glasses that work in synchronization with the Plasma Theater's HDTV, the viewer is able to experience 3D images formed with twice the volume of information than regular Full HD images.
Plasma is currently the best TV technology to deliver a Full HD 3D experience due in great part to its ability to refresh at a speed that enables multiple image display without loss of resolution. The performance of PanasonicPanasonic's Plasma panels, whose self-illumination allows for excellent video response, has been brought out to the fullest extent in the development of a 3D driving system that displays the left and right images together as Full HD images with no resolution degradation.
