Saudi Build-2009 Expo Opens Sunday |

Riyadh -- The 21st International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition (Saudi Build-2009) will be opened on Sunday (October 4).
The four-day exhibition will be organized at the New Riyadh International Exhibition Center, located on King Abdullah Road next to Prince Salman Social Center in the capital city.
The Exhibition is being staged under the auspices of the Riyadh Exhibition Company. It is considered as the largest event, specializing in construction sector as well as stone and bricks processing techniques in the region and is being held at a time when the construction sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arab is currently witnessing a positive growth.
The Riyadh Exhibition Company arranged a press conference at The Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday afternoon, where it was mentioned that all Showcases are already booked.
More than 650 regional and international companies from 38 countries have confirmed their participation at the Saudi Build-2009 Expo.
Australia, Austria, Brazil, China, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom have put up their Pavilions at the Show. As many as 300 Saudi companies are also enriching the Expo with their presence.
The Company explained that one of the main attractions for the construction sector in the Kingdom is a positive performance during the second half of this year. It is expected to achieve a growth rate of 0.05 per cent in real terms to reach the nominal value of the sector to SR 78.23 billion, according to a report on the Kingdom's infrastructure in the third quarter of this year.
