Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's (ADTA)Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's (ADTA)
new official hotel ratings could see some losing out on their star ratings. The new rating see rate the quality of the mattress to how well the colour of the carpet co-ordinates with the rest if the room's decor.
Rated hotels in Abu Dhabi are required to display the plaque issued by (ADTAADTA
) on their official new ratings. Nasser Al Reyami, the director of tourism standards at the ADTAADTA
said that the possibility of some hotels losing out on their star ratings can't be ruled out. Hotels and hotel apartments were a year ago issued with service manuals detailing the strict requirements they had to meet to ensure their rating was issued by ADTAADTA
. Hotels who fall short of the star-rating requirements are given six months to fulfill ADTAADTA
criteria and regain some of the lost rating. By Staff Reporter
