Performance PR launches Middle East office |
|

Performance PR, the sport and automotive PR specialist, has today launched its first office in the Middle East. Operating under the name Performance PR Middle East, the new company is based in the regional media hub of Dubai. The new office is also the company's first outside the UK.
The London-based agency, which lists BMW, ExxonMobil and the Top Gear MPH Show among its UK clients, and Fast Rent A Car, ProTech and Alex Renner Motors among its Middle East client list, has already been active in the region since November 2008, working out of the UK office.
Operating out of Dubai Media City, Performance PR Middle East will seek both to secure its own clients for representation throughout the GCC and Levant, and act as a regional arm of the UK head office.
Former motoring journalist Noel Ebdon has been appointed Managing Director of Performance PR Middle East, working closely with new PR Director Ian Drinkwater, who has ten years experience in the PR industry, both in-house and client-side.
Ebdon, who has worked in the Dubai media scene for over ten years, is confident about the agency's potential. "With the media evolving fast out here, this is a logical step forward for the public relations industry," he says. "We are convinced that our new, more tailored offering will prove compelling to businesses in the region, and those wishing to raise their profile across the Middle East."
Andy Francis, Director of Performance PR UK, says: "The launch marks a very exciting phase in the development of Performance PR. During a number of visits to the region, it has become apparent that there is an appetite for the specialist services, skills and experience we already offer brands working in, or across, the automotive and sporting sectors."
