MUSCAT -- The Tender BoardTender Board
yesterday awarded tenders worth RO 53,827,568. The new projects are: -- power plant (132/33 KV) and transmission line connected to it at Yitti in Muscat Governorate (RO 11.32 million); design and construction of roads at W'attayeen's Al Wadi al Sharqiyah area in the Al Sharqiyah region (RO 8.96 million); construction of Qurum power plant (132/33 KV) and transmission line in the Wilayat of Bausher (RO 7 million); dual carriageway which connects Al Rabat roundabout with Dahareez roundabout in Salalah (RO 4. 55 million); design, manufacture, installation and inspection of the special winch for workshops at Oman Dry Dock companyOman Dry Dock company (RO 2.73 million); third party insurance for Muscat International and Salalah Airports as part of the airports' development project (RO 2 million); construction of two electrical lines and a power plant for the Beach Games City at Al Musanaa in the Al Batinah (RO 1.64 million); design, manufacture, installation and inspection of utilities related to iron cutting for Oman Dry Dock companyOman Dry Dock company (RO 1.24 million); construction of Nasser bin Murshed for General Education in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq (Al Iraqi) (RO 1 million); approving security service contracts for government bodies (RO 1.3 million); supply of laboratory materials for the Royal HospitalRoyal Hospital (RO 679,084); construction of water supply network for Ras al Hadd airport (RO 664,824); expansion of Al Rumais power plant in the Wilayat of Barka (RO 466,967); insurance for Oman Telecommunications CompanyOman Telecommunications Company's property against risks and service interruption (RO 645,300); design, manufacture, installation and inspection of gas storing utilities at Oman Dry Dock companyOman Dry Dock company (RO 433,850); 16-power connection to Seih Qrain, Shuabt al Musalamat and Alsarhat in the Wilayat of Al Qabil, and Suwaidifi, Waqdh, Al Malidah and Alshabihat in the Wilayat of Ibra (RO 413,820); electricity to Quttain, Abu Qatifa, Al Hais and Maqtaa in the Wilayat of Dima and Tayeen (RO 320,275); consultancy services for Khasab-Diba-Lema road (second stage) (RO 305,000); Wali Yanqul house (RO 268,611); consultancy services for the design and supervision of Salalah Airport bridge (RO 255,000); and consultancy services for the supervision of Duqm Airport construction (RO 2.8 million). The Tender BoardTender Board
also opened bids for a number of tenders and approved variation orders for some of the ongoing projects. It also discussed projects referred by ministries and government departments.
