Al Jaber invites specialists for Dubai airport

As part of the continuing expansion of Dubai International Airport (Phase 2), Al Jaber LEGT Engineering and Contracting has invited specialist subcontractors to prequalify for four work packages that will form part of the main contractor's scope of works.
Al Jaber is the main contractor for the construction, completion and maintenance of the civil, architectural, MEP, SAS, and signage works of concourse three at the airport.
The applicants should submit a prequalification questionnaire for assessment. A prequalification briefing will be held for each of the packages at the site office on Marrakech Street where the necessary documents will be issued. The closing date for all the prequalification submissions is noon on July 2.
The first package is to procure and carry out wall and floor painting including emulsion, architectural, epoxy, anticarbonate, car park marking, decking systems and dust-proof painting works. The prequalification briefing will be held on Thursday at 11am.
The second package is for the procurement and installation of signage, way finding and advertising works. The prequalification briefing will be held on Thursday at 12pm.
The third package is for the procurement and construction of expansion joints including all backing, priming, accessories and sundries. The prequalification briefing will be held on Thursday at 10am.
The fourth package is for the procurement and installation of drywall partitions and suspended ceilings including gypsum plasterboard ceilings, acoustic panel ceilings, standard grid ceilings and inclusive of all bulkheads. The briefing will be held on Thursday at 9am.
