Deutsche Bank appoints Joe Barchini as Chief Operating Officer for the UAE and Qatar

Dubai, 14 April 2009 - Deutsche BankDeutsche Bank
announced today the appointment of Joe Barchini as Chief Operating Officer for the UAE and Qatar. Barchini will report to Mounir Husseini, Deutsche BankDeutsche Bank
's Chief Country Officer for the UAE and Qatar, and Alexander Schuetz, Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Barchini joined Deutsche BankDeutsche Bank
in 2005, and was until recently the Business Manager of its Global Markets division in MENA. Barchini has played an active role in Deutsche BankDeutsche Bank
's growth in the MENA region, most notably in the establishment of its branches in Dubai and Riyadh, as well as the build up of its franchise in Algeria.
