"The event attracts the biggest names from the pharma industry and brings together key regional decision-makers, giving us an opportunity to explore strategic alliances and reinforce our relationship with health ministries and regulatory authorities from the UAE and other regional countries."

"While the global financial crisis has left virtually no economic sector completely untouched, pharmaceutical remains one of the least affected industries, and this is especially true of the pharmaceutical market in the Middle East, where analysts forecast massive, sustained growth over the next few years. Liberalization of domestic economies, combined with strong governmental efforts to encourage indigenous manufacture of pharmaceutical products, have been key growth drivers for Middle East's pharma industry," Akhtar added.
