6th Arab Asian Dental Scientific Meeting |

Dubai - United Arab Emirates, March 11th 2009. For the past thirteen years, AEEDC Dubai has contributed significantly in the growth of Modern Dentistry in the Middle East and North Africa, by hosting different scientific activities during the three days conference and exhibition taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
As part of this year's scientific activities, AEEDC Dubai is hosting the 6th Arab Asian Dental Scientific Meeting - (AADSM 2009). The meeting was held at 11:00 am this morning and fulfilled its goal in creating an opportunity of exchanging advancements in the field of Dentistry, between the Arab World and Asia.
Heads and presidents of more than 40 dental associations from Arab-Asian countries were present at the 6th AADSM, along with the International Scientific Advisory Board Members attended the 6th Arab Asian Dental Scientific Meeting.
Discussions mainly tackled the procedures and ways that need to be adopted in order to elevate the standard of Dentistry and its related services globally.
Board members also discussed the approval on the minutes of last year's meeting, and on the top of the agenda was "The advancement of Dentistry within the Arab and Asian Dental community" file which was not finalised during last year's meeting, in addition to strengthening the cooperation between the Arab Dental Federation and the Asia Pacific Dental Federation. They also shared their ideas, updates and shortcomings and focused on the common objective of increasing awareness and contributing successfully to achieve a better future of Dentistry.
Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Arab Asian Dental Scientific Meeting (AADSM) said, "AADSM contributes well to the growth of Modern Dentistry worldwide. It has enhanced the present communication prevailing among the Dental Institutions globally, through this initiative."
Prof. Abdullah Al Shammery, Dean Private College of Dentistry and Pharmacy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, added that "AADSM meeting will focus on developing continuous educational programs, research and networking among AADSM members. Exchange of knowledge will be facilitated among young dentists throughout the region".
Dr. Mohammed Al Jishi, President of Arab Dental Federation, AADSM and AEEDC International Scientific Advisory Board Member commented, "Top oral health care representatives from 22 Arab Countries will gather for the 6th edition of AADSM and join their colleagues from Asia to be a part of AEEDC Dubai's conference, workshops and exhibition. These Arab Nations have given AEEDC an accreditation to be a major platform in providing continuing education and research in the field of Dentistry."
AADSM aims to create an opportunity of exchanging advancements between the Arab World and Asia, in the field of Dentistry, and AEEDC Dubai had created the perfect platform for platform for dental scientific activities and the major meeting point for all the dental professionals and industry experts who continuously bring advancements within the dental industry.
