Dublin-based Alba joins Dubai's logistics group

Alba Logistics, the Dublin-based supply chain warehousing consultancy, has become the latest corporate member of Supply Chain and Logistics Group (SCLG).
SCLG in Dubai is a non-profit organisation now operating with the legal backing of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and IndustryDubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry
.The group was established to promote the cause of supply chain and logistics in the Middle East region.
SCLG's core aim is to deliver opportunities for education, training, seminars and networking among like-mined professionals and corporations on a global basis.
SCLG strives to attract and network the top thought leaders in supply chain and logistics from around the world through partnerships and alliances with similar bodies across the globe.
Alba Logistics, building upon its track record of value-based consultancy services delivered to its global client base that includes Pepsico, GlaxosmithKline, Braun, Actavis, Ivax Pharmaceutical, Schering-Plough and ABX Logistics among others, views Dubai as the premier supply chain and logistics hub for the region that stretches from East Africa, across the Middle East and on to the Subcontinent and into Central Asia.
Notwithstanding the outlook ahead, Alba looks to support and strengthen the supply chain warehousing capabilities of its clients in manufacturing, distribution and logistics services.
