Firm to present its blend of extravagant external form and efficient internal function to investors and industry professionals
Dubai, 13 January 2009: Eye of Dubai has organised a sales event for the Oval Tower in Business Bay, being developed by prominent Korean real estate and property development group, D'SECO. The event will take place on Wednesday 14 January 2009 in the Al Falak Ballroom at the Burj Al Arab from 9am to 6pm.
As the name suggests, the uniquely elegant 20-storey Oval Tower is oval-shaped, with the façade a striking contrast of pure white walls against a modern glass finish, creating an iconic display of modern elegance. Located at the heart of what is widely recognised as Dubai's new commercial hub - Business Bay - the commercial tower will offer occupants convenient access to both Al Khail road and Sheikh Zayed road.
Behind its striking exterior, the Oval Tower offers efficiently-designed and comfortable high-end office spaces, designed according to the highest international standards, with flexible floor layouts, allowing tenants to choose from a number of different configurations to plan whether an individual or an open office space is preferred. The tower also offers a number of state-of-the-art recreational and health facilities, including a fully-equipped gymnasium housing a sauna, shower and locker facilities, as well as luxury dining and sufficient parking for both occupants and visitors.
Speaking of the project and the upcoming sales event, SungDol Kim, CEO of D'SECO, said, "We believe that the combination of the extravagant external form of the Oval Tower - which will become a recognisable landmark within an area that is full of distinctive architecture - with its efficient internal function and prime location will make the Oval Tower an ideal location for businesses looking to set up their offices in Dubai. This sales event is intended to present our achievement to investors, industry professionals, and other interested parties, and to show them what can be accomplished through a clear vision and determination to succeed."
"We are extremely appreciative of the amount of effort that Eye of Dubai has gone to in order to organise and host this sales event for us," Kim continued, "and we are confident that the investors and industry professionals that they have invited on our behalf to attend the event will be impressed at what we have managed to accomplish with the Oval Tower. We are particularly looking forward to presenting the project to the international investors that Eye of Dubai has managed to attract for this event, and we anticipate receiving a further positive response to the project from all those present."
The architectural design and engineering for Oval Tower was handled by AtkinsAtkins
, the company responsible for other impressive projects such as Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Chelsea Tower and Al Rostamani office building, as well as D'SECO's Al Helio Downtown development in Ajman. AtkinsAtkins
was also appointed to project manage the construction of the tower.
D'SECO, which has been active in the UAE market since 1997, was the first Korean company of its kind to enter the UAE real-estate market. In addition to the Oval Tower, its portfolio includes such projects as Al Helio Downtown in Ajman and the Digital Twin Towers in Meydan City.
