has added two new members to its management team.
Kathleen Stuck has been appointed Resident Manager and Kevin Wills as Food & Beverage Director.
A German by birth, Kathleen Stuck brings with her more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She was attached to several 5-star prestigious hotels in Europe before coming to the Middle East. Kathleen was formerly a Housekeeping Supervisor the Four Seasons Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin, Germany. She soon proved her capabilities and gained enough knowledge to become the Executive Housekeeper of the Great Eastern Hotel in London.
In 2002, Kathleen moved to Dubai to secure a position as Executive Housekeeper at the Hilton Dubai Creek. Her manifold experiences in the housekeeping department soon led her to take up the challenge as Front Office Manager for four years in the Hilton before moving on to the Raffles Dubai in the capacity of Director of Rooms.
In her new role as Resident Manager, Kathleen will be overall in charge of Front Office and Room Operations, Housekeeping, Laundry, Engineering, Loss Prevention and the Fitness Centre.
Kevin Wills, an American by nationality, he brings with him a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the hospitality industry.
A graduate from the University of Hawaii, College of Business Administration, School of Travel Industry and Management, Kevin was with the Waikoloa Beach Resort and Spa, Hawaii as Director of Operations, prior to his recent appointment.
Kevin has extensive international experience in especially in America. He was also the Director of Food & Beverage for the Wailea Marriott Resort and Spa, Wailea, Hawaii and the MGM Mirage, Beau Rivage, Biloxi Mississippi.
Nominated for the 2007 Marriott Award of Excellence, Kevin has played a vital role in the opening of new hotels in Hawaii such as the Hyatt Regency Kauai and the Grand Hyatt Wailea.
Reporting directly to the General Manager of the JW Marriott DubaiJW Marriott Dubai
, Kevin will oversee the entire food & beverage operations of the hotel that has 11 restaurants, bars, cafes and lounges.
