Petroleum conference honours RasGas project

KUALA LUMPUR: RasGas Company Limited's (RasGas)RasGas Company Limited's (RasGas)
Train 5 LNG Project was one of three industry projects honoured for its "Excellence in Project Integration" on Tuesday, at this year's International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) held here. The IPTC is one of the key conferences and exhibitions in the oil and gas calendar, is held this year between 3rd and 5th December with over 3000 participants from around the globe.
Together with the Petronas Murphy Project and ExxonMobil Sakhalin Project, RasGasRasGas
was short listed for the IPTC award for "Excellence in Project Integration" for its groundbreaking work on its Train 5 LNG Project. RasGasRasGas
is honoured to be recognised for its efforts and its leadership in the industry.
The IPTC award recognises exemplary performance in project integration and honours project teams that have made significant and unique achievements in managing and directing an integrated oil or gas project from discovery to delivery.

IPTC is a collaborative effort among the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Major oil and gas companies, including RasGasRasGas
will be playing high-profile roles at the three day IPTC conference and exhibition in Malaysia.
