KFH mabarrah builds chalets for care center inmates in Al-Zour worth K.D 1 million |

In conjunction with Ministry of Social Affairs, Al-Enma'a Real Estate
Al-Nefeesy: Social opportunities are as important as investment ones
Kuwait Finance House's charitable mabarrah (KFH), which is a KFHKFH
subsidiary, donated K.D 1 million and signed a triplet agreement to start its first project to serve the society, in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Al-Enma'a Real Estate CorporationAl-Enma'a Real Estate Corporation
, and Kuwaiti Tech Corporation for engineering consultancies. The agreement states to build an entertainment center for social care center inmates in Al-Zour area. The Deputy Chairman Sameer Al-Nefeesy attended the signature of the agreement on behalf of KFHKFH
. In addition to that, the mabarrah board member Abdul Aziz Al-Jaber, Undersecretary of Ministry of Social Affairs Mohammed Al-Kandary, Assistant Undersecretary for care center Jassem Ashkanani, and the General Manager of Al-Enma'a Real Estate CorporationAl-Enma'a Real Estate Corporation
Waleed Al-Jery attended with Al-Nefeesy.
Al-Nefeesy said that the social role that KFHKFH
is leading commits it to seizing social opportunities, in addition to the investment opportunities that are the bread and butter of the establishment. He added that the mabarrah attempts to have an efficient role in serving society, and sponsor other development projects, which will further serve society.
Moreover, he stated that KFHKFH
has established a hospital for addicts that cost KD 4.5 million and 15 ambulance centers that cost KD 1.5 million, in addition to many social programs that assist people with special needs.
On his side, Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Kandary thanked KFHKFH
and the mabarrah for their kind gesture, which has been a KFHKFH
trend. Such gestures make KFHKFH
a role model for the private sector to achieve social responsibility.
Al-Kandary added that the project would serve around one thousand care center inmates. He also wishes that this gesture would be the first for many others to follow from KFHKFH
's mabarrah, which aims to develop the society. Furthermore, he said that the ministry has finished 7 other projects with the help of the private sector.
On the other hand, the Assistant General Manager for the Support Services Sector and Al mabarrah board member Abdul Aziz Al-Jaber explained that the project consists of a 7400 m2 land that harbors a multi purpose hall, an entertainment hall, 3 full service residential units on 420 m2, and an indoor swimming pool. The facility can take 50 inmates at the same time. They will be able to visit the center year-round.
Al-Jaber affirmed that the mabarrah is currently considering many other social projects to serve society. Furthermore, the mabarrah welcomes any initiative or idea that cements its social role.
