2 Million Jd Ready Mix, Brick & Interlock Tile Factory To Be Established In The 'Industrial Park' Of The Ma'an Development Area

In another pioneer move to expand Ma'an Development Company's investment portfolio and to further cultivate the Industrial Park and stimulate economic and social development in the South of Jordan, an agreement was signed between Ma'an Development Company (MDC) and Ready Mix Concrete & Construction Supplies Co. (RMCCS)Ready Mix Concrete & Construction Supplies Co. (RMCCS)Loading... to establish a Ready Mix, brick and interlock tile factory in the Industrial Park of the Ma'an Development Area (MDA).

The investment agreement signed by Mr. Raja Al-Alami, GM of RMCCSRMCCSLoading... and Mr. Mohammed Turk, CEO of MDC, outlines the establishment of a Ready Mix, brick and interlock tile factory to be built over an area of 13,500 square meters with an investment value of 2 million JOD.  The factory that is expected to be operational by the end of the 1st quarter of 2009 will create additional job opportunities within the community, further contributing to the economic development of Ma'an. As it will also serve the requirements and meet the needs of the construction sector in the Ma'an Development Area, the govern ate of Ma'an, and the South of Jordan in general.

company to supply concrete that surpasses 175 meters high in Jordan. The company is also involved in construction projects, as well as import and export of materials, machines and equipments necessary for its activities. 

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Mohammed Turk said: "MDC is honored to have RMCCSRMCCSLoading... as part of the investment family within its development project.  We are confident that the Industrial Park will benefit from the added value and expertise that RMCCSRMCCSLoading... will bring in and we are looking forward into the creation of additional job opportunities through this venture".

On the other hand Mr. Al- Alami added: "With our qualified staff, up-to-date technical equipment, and our specialized laboratories for quality inspections, we will be utilizing all our efforts in having one of the best Ready Mix, brick and interlock tile factory in the Region which will contribute in raising the economic activities in the South of Jordan."

Consisting of four complementary clusters including a Residential Community, an Industrial Park, a Hajj Oasis, and a Skill Development Center, the Ma'an Development Area (MDA) is set to become a regional hub for industrial activity and a centre of excellence for vocational training, as well as a religious landmark for pilgrims on their way to the Holy cities, offering them the ideal environment for their rest, relaxation and prayer.  MDA will also be home to a thriving and self-sustained city providing its residents and visitors with a quality living and working environment to fulfill their ambitions.
