First Géant Hypermarket in Kuwait at 360o KUWAIT

Kuwait- 30th November,2008: Tamdeen Shopping Centers Company (TSC)Tamdeen Shopping Centers Company (TSC)Loading..., a subsidiary of Tamdeen Real Estate Company, announces the debut of leading French hypermarket Géant in Kuwait. Designed as a massive 13,000 square meter anchor store, Géant will be an integral feature of the nearly completed 360° KUWAIT Shopping Center, the country's latest innovative real estate development, which is set to open in the spring of 2009.

Géant, which is part of Fu-com Central Markets Co. KSC, will attain a pioneering position within Kuwait's retail industry in terms of exposure, diversity and quality of products. It will deliver a vast range of international service standards consolidated under one roof which will cater to the ever-increasing cosmopolitan environment, lifestyles and tastes of Kuwaiti society. It is worth noting that Géant's parent company owns more than 9,000 locations, including Géant Hypermarket, supermarkets and convenience stores, spread around the world.

Commenting on Géant's debut in Kuwait, Marzooq Al-Marzooq, Chairman of Tamdeen Shopping CentersTamdeen Shopping CentersLoading..., said, "Géant is a bright addition to our portfolio of shopping centers and we are extremely pleased to have played a pivotal role in bringing the French hypermarket Géant to Kuwait. All of which are designed to provide the shopper with a special taste of hospitality, the addition of the French chain Géant Hypermarkets to this innovative retail development further gives shoppers a complete shopping experience at the upcoming 360° KUWAIT.
