Abu Dhabi, November 18, 2008: Green Crescent Insurance CompanyGreen Crescent Insurance CompanyLoading... announced today the formal launch of its privately operated health insurance company. In response to the increased attention by governments' in the region to provide private health coverage, Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... has positioned itself to satisfy this growing need.

Speaking at the launch, Carl J. Sardegna, CEO, said "Our goal is to be the leading quality provider of health insurance in the region. To that end we will provide employers with the ability to customize plans to meet their needs. Members will be able to access quality networks of providers locally and on a global basis. We will provide personalized service and introduce into the region the concept of disease management. In effect, we will help members, particularly those with chronic illness to maintain their health using proven international health insurance best practices, processes, and technology. A distribution agreement with Aetna Insurance Company allows Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... the ability to utilize its network of over 855,000 healthcare professionals throughout the USA.

Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... recently signed an agreement with HTH Worldwide, a global health and safety services company which will give Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... members access to HTH's contracted doctors and hospitals in 180 countries. HTH will also provide its suite of proprietary online tools to search for doctors, hospitals and pharmacies, as well as to translate brand names of medicines and key medical terms and phrases.

An agreement with NAS, a leading third party administrator in the region for over 10 years provides Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... access to the company's leading processes and extensive network of healthcare providers in the region. NAS also brings in its expertise and know-how in healthcare claims and medical authorization which are pivotal in making the decision to choose a health insurance provider.

The company will use technology to enhance customer service. Professional customer service staff and insurance specialists will provide personalized attention through a 24 hour toll-free customer service. In keeping with the demographics of the country, the Green CrescentGreen CrescentLoading... website (www.green-crescent.com) will be offered in English, Arabic, Tagalog and Hindi.
