Dubai: 18 November, 2008 - Dubai Industrial CityDubai Industrial City, a member of Tatweer Dubai, today announced it has signed an agreement to lease 230,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to NMCNMC Trading, the trading and distribution arm of the New Medical Centre (NMC) GroupNew Medical Centre (NMC) Group, one of the most diversified business houses in the UAE.

The agreement was signed by Rashed Al Ansari, Vice-President of Dubai Industrial CityDubai Industrial City, and Dr. B.R. Shetty, Managing Director and CEO of NMCNMC Group.

The deal makes NMCNMC Trading the largest warehouse customer for the leading industrial destination in Dubai, and will help NMCNMC Trading further consolidate and expand its business especially in healthcare, FMCG and retail sectors.

NMCNMC Trading boasts an impressive portfolio of the most renowned and established world-class brands in pharmaceuticals, medical and scientific equipment, as well as in FMCG such as Pfizer, Nivea, Tyco, 3M and Himalaya.

Al Ansari pointed out demand has been so strong that warehouse space of 1.5 million square feet offered by Dubai Industrial CityDubai Industrial City has been completely taken up by companies on lease, indicating the tremendous growth of the corporate sector.

He added: "Dubai Industrial CityDubai Industrial City is currently building another set of warehouses offering an additional 1.5 million square feet of storage space, leasing for which will begin by next month."
