ARBIL: The electricity ministry of Kurdistan region on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to supervise three projects with more than $6 million, the media director of the electricity ministry said.

"The Kurdish electricity minister signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) at a total cost of $6.450 million," Shimal Nouri told Aswat al-Iraq.

"The UNDP will supervise three projects in Arbil, Sulaimaniya and Duhuk," he added.

"The MoU will contribute in providing technical assistance from the UNDP to the electricity ministry," he noted.
