DIWANIYA: Media manager of Najaf oil refinery on Tuesday said that Diwaniya new refinery, with a production capacity of 10 thousand barrels per day (bpd), will be opened by November 7, 2008,
"The refinery will be opened next Friday," Ahmed Abduljabbar Rezaj told Aswat al-Iraq.
For his part, the official spokesperson of the Iraqi Ministry of OilMinistry of Oil
said that the refinery's capacity will be increased to 30 thousand (bpd) by next year.
"The oil minister will open the refinery," Asim Jihad told Aswat al-Iraq.
