Dubai Health Authority Takes over Health Planning |

Dubai -- The Dubai Health Authority (DHA)Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
has taken over responsibility for all strategic health planning for Dubai and the collection of government health statistics, a role previously played by the Department of Health and Medical Services (DoHMS).
This will include the patient registration details required for the DHADHA's new health funding system as well as all strategic data collection required by the government to undertake and implement its ongoing health strategy. It will not include any patient's clinical information which was previously collected by DoHMS.
Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director-General of the Dubai Health AuthorityDubai Health Authority, said, "Creating an effective health strategy, which leads to better access to better care, requires access to good health statistics and information so that we can plan for the future. Consequently, the DHADHA will be responsible for the collection of all new patient registration."
