Nawras introduces lowest prepaid local calls, SMS |

MUSCAT -- NawrasNawras
leads the way again by being the first mobile operator in Oman to introduce SMS and Voice Bundles, while offering the lowest prices in the market to subscribing Nawras Mousbak (prepaid) customers. Customers can subscribe to the Nawras Mousbak Voice Bundle for just RO 3 for 30 days, benefitting from the same low calling rate which is already enjoyed by Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers. Calls can be made to NawrasNawras
customers for the low price of only 19 baisas per minute and when calling other mobile numbers or fixed line numbers in Oman, the rate will be just 39 baisas per minute.
Subscribing to a Nawras Mousbak SMS Bundle for 750 baisas, customers can save substantial amounts on text messaging by sending up to 100 SMS for only 7.5 baisa per message. The bundle is valid for 30 days and SMS can be sent to any mobile number in the Sultanate. Unused messages automatically expire at the end of the bundle and any additional SMS sent, over and above the bundle volume, will be charged at the regular rate of 10 baisas.
Announcing the new services, Nawras Consumer Proposition Manager, Aziz al Harrasi (pictured), said: "NawrasNawras
is thrilled to be the first operator in Oman to introduce SMS and Voice Bundles. We are anticipating that these new services will generate an extremely positive reaction from our prepaid customers. Not only do these bundles give great value -- as customers know to expect from NawrasNawras
-- but they also show our continued quest to provide innovative and creative services which really anticipate the evolving needs of our ever-expanding customer base."
To subscribe to either service, customers simply dial *141# and follow the simple instructions. Option one leads to the Voice Bundle and option two gives access to the SMS Bundle. Bundles will be automatically renewed every 30 days unless customers choose otherwise. The introduction of these new Nawras Mousbak SMS and Voice Bundles, follows the huge success of the Nawras 48-hr Unlimited Broadband Internet package which was another recent 'first' for customers of the Middle East Mobile Operator of the Year.
The ability to use high speed Internet where and whenever they wish to for only RO 3 for a 48-hour period, delighted NawrasNawras
customers and led to this service being introduced as a permanent pay-as-you-go option for customers. With a speed of up to 1 mbps, no commitment, maximum flexibility and great value, NawrasNawras
customers get more choice and freedom.
