BankDhofar relaunches SMS banking service

MUSCAT -- BankDhofarBankDhofar
has reaffirmed its philosophy of 'Customer First' by re-introducing SMS Banking Service with its advanced features, enabling customers to manage their account through their mobile 24 hours 7 days a week. BankDhofarBankDhofar
's SMS Banking Service has been established as a two-way communication tool whereby the bank may contact clients through the SMS 'Push' service in which clients can be informed about various services automatically such as: debits and credit notification, weekly account balance statements, salary notification, bouncing of cheque, fixed deposit renewal, reminder and interest credit.In return, clients may also contact the bank through the SMS "Pull" service to request both financial and non financial services. Non financial services include: account balance enquiry, deposit rate, mini statement request, utility bill enquiry and foreign exchange rate enquiry. Financial services comprise: Hayyak top-up, telephone, GSM, Internet, electricity and water bill payment. Furthermore, the Help service will provide the customer with a step by step guide to perform all transactions via SMS. Moreover, customers are able to change the Mobile Personal Identification Number (MPIN) to a favourite 4 digit number at their convenience.

branch to register the utility contract number once.
