MUSCAT -- NawrasNawrasLoading... yesterday launched the fastest mobile Broadband Internet service in Oman with the introduction of its Platinum Plan giving downlink speeds of up to 7.2Mb/s for only RO 99 per month including 30GB of free data usage. The service is designed to serve the needs of business customers and heavy Internet users within the growing 3G+ network coverage, the fastest speed in the Sultanate.

"We know many business customers have been eagerly awaiting this day and will warmly welcome the introduction of the fastest mobile Internet solution in Oman. With download speeds being up to seven times faster than currently available coupled with the fact that there are no waiting lists at NawrasNawrasLoading..., customers can reap the benefits of this service being not only fast to use but fast to get started too," said Hussain al Lawati, NawrasNawrasLoading... Head of Direct Sales.

Putting this fast speed into context, Al Lawati gave some examples of the difference in experience that customers can now expect with the new Platinum Plan. He explained that when downloading an average Mp3 file with a size of 5MB at a speed of 1Mbps it would take 40 seconds and incredibly, Platinum Plan customers can expect to complete the same task in as little as 5.71 seconds, using a speed of 7Mbps.

When sending or receiving a 400 KB text e-mail with a PDF or PowerPoint file attachment, transmission time drops from 3.2 seconds at 1Mbps to around 0.46 seconds at 7Mbps with the Platinum Plan. Al Lawati pointed out that customers do need to be in the 3G+ coverage areas to benefit from this high speed Internet service and speeds can sometimes vary when many NawrasNawrasLoading... Internet users are active in the same area at the same time.

NawrasNawrasLoading... 3G+ Network currently covers the main areas of the key cities of Muscat, Nizwa, Sur, Salalah and Sohar with the network being quickly expanded to cover the rest of the Sultanate. Customers can visit their local NawrasNawrasLoading... Store, purchase a plug and play E220 modem, select the Platinum Plan and be up and running as soon as their NawrasNawrasLoading... SIM-card has been activated.

It is very easy to get started and customers will find it extremely economical making it the ideal choice for businesses as well as those working from a home office, using E-Business or downloading a lot of files. The Platinum Plan is the latest price plan from this award-winning operator. NawrasNawrasLoading... also provides a Silver Plan giving 1GB free data usage for RO 19 and Gold Plan giving 10GB of free data usage for RO 29, both based on a speed of up to 1 Megabit per second.
