LCD and Plasma TVs demands soar due to Euro 2008 and Olympic Games

The leading retailer also projects LCD and Plasma TVs will be the most in-demand products during DSS.Mall footfall figures are estimated to escalate up to 40 per cent due to the region's largest summer festival's exciting promotions and activities. "Since the launch of DSS, summer in Dubai has become a tourism season people look forward to every year. The demand has been particularly strong for larger size screens especially in the 52", 65" and even the 103" segment which is now displayed at Jacky's outlet on Dubai Airport Road," he added.

Aside from flat-screen TVs, other high-value products such as laptops and digital cameras are becoming preferred gift gadgets.
