HH Sheikh Ahmed, HE Khalid Khalban, HE Hamad Buamin present first Construction World Gulf Award

UAE's first CONSTRUCTION WORLD GULF AWARDS were a grand affair as prominent consultants, contractors and developers were awarded by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saqer Al Qassimi, HE Khalid Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Investments, HE Mirza Hussain Al Sayegh, Hon. Mohammed Asraf Ally Dulull, Minister, Ministry of Housing and Lands, Mauritius, and HE Hamad Buamin, Director General, Dubai Chamber of Commerce on May 26 at Fairmont Hotel organised by ASAPP Media Information Group.
The awardees included:
Consultants: WS Atkins & Partners Overseas (Simon Crispe - Commercial Director), Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (Eric Tomich - Associate Partner), RMJM (Gordon Affleck- Director);
Contractors: Arabtec (Riad Kamal- MD), Belhasa Six Construct LLC (Philippe Dessoy-GM), ALEC (Kez Taylor- MD); and
Developers: Dubai Airports (Khalifa Al Zaffin - Executive Chairman of Dubai World Central), EMAAR Properties (Ahmed Al Matrooshi -MD), Al-Futtaim (Emad Nimeh- Development Director), RTA (Nabil Mohammed Saleh - Director of Roads Dept Traffic and Roads Agency), Nakheel (Marwan Al Qamzi - MD Palm Jebel).
Pratap Vijay Padode, Managing Director of ASAPP Media Information Group, publishers of CONSTRUCTION WORLD, the largest circulated construction business magazine with independent editions across Gulf and South Asia since eleven years and a readership of 200,000, explained that, "Perception based surveys define the sum total of a company's image created by its offerings, its conduct with its customers, employees and society at large."
The next awards would be held during the BIG 5 later this year as per announcement by Pratap Vijay Padode.
