Primavera Contract Manager V11 applied to Daman's landmark project at the Dubai International Financial Centre

Dubai, December 26, 2007: Collaboration Management and Control Solutions (CMCS), the leading provider of project, portfolio and risk management solutions and training courses in the Middle East, announced today that Daman InvestmentsDaman InvestmentsLoading... has purchased 10 licenses of Primavera Contract Manager V11 to take control of the construction processes on its US$450 million project The Buildings by Daman.

The Buildings is a 220,000 square-foot commercial and residential complex and will deploy Primavera's Contract Manager to facilitate the completion of the project by mid 2009. Using CMCS's collaborative platform, the project team will be able to respond confidently and rapidly to requests for quotes, notices and design changes for the AED 1.6 billion project. The application provides real-time access on latest project updates, enabling maximum efficiency while minimizing project cost, risks and safety issues.

We are certain that CMCS will prove itself to be a valuable solutions provider to our project. With Primavera Contract Manager, we are certain that our team will have an effective system to track progress and overcome challenges as we move forward."

Given the rapid growth of the project development market in the UAE, developers, contractors and construction firms need to be more responsive and more flexible when confronting shifts in market conditions. The industry is in constant need of solutions that provide superior technology (schedule, track budgets, resource and change management) on a collaborative platform to build best practices on projects.

Bassam Samman, CEO and Founder of CMCS, said: "We will work closely with the The Buildings' project team to complete the implementation of our system and train all users to ensure efficient delivery of the project."

Samman added that Primavera's advanced applications will enable improved contractor, vendor and supplier management, while it helps the project team to dramatically reduce the chance of miscommunication and information back-logs, as well as cutting back on redundancy, reducing team costs and review time.

CMCS, the sole authorized partner for Primavera in the Middle East, provides project, portfolio and risk management solutions for a number of high-profile regional clients.
