Dubai - UAE Staff at NissanNissan
dealerships across the Middle East and North Africa are competing for the honour of being recognised as the best among their peers. Winners from GCC countries, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Azerbaijan will now face off in the area finals in Dubai on December 5, 2007."NissanNissan
aims to provide products and services that surpass the expectations of the customers. To achieve this goal we must be sincere in our thinking and bold in our actions. While maximising quality through continuous improvements to performance, we must also be unceasing in our quest for creativity", commented Abdul Hamid Saleh, General Manager, DLR Development and Customer Service Department, Nissan Middle EastNissan Middle East
& North Africa and CIS Region. The competition is in two categories - the NissanNissan
International Service Technical Contest (NISTEC) for technicians and the NissanNissan
Service Advisor Contest (NISAC) for service personnel. NISTEC contestants are tested on their expertise in customer service, diagnosing and repairing NissanNissan
vehicles. The winner earns a trip to NissanNissan
headquarters in Tokyo to attend the international awards ceremony."NISTEC is an excellent opportunity to communicate NissanNissan
's expectations for technical excellence," added Saleh. "Technicians who perform well at NISTEC demonstrate their exceptional knowledge, skills and ability to fix customers' vehicles right the first time, every time, which translates to an unparalleled level of care for our customers". The NISAC competition is restricted to GCC dealers and the winner is recognised at a special ceremony at Nissan Middle EastNissan Middle East
's head office in Dubai. Finalists will be assessed on receiving the vehicles at the service centre, telephone handling and the delivery process. "The finalists for NISAC are judged based on the customer-handling skills as well as the ability to tailor their service to each of the customers' specific needs. We want to grasp our customers' requirements to ensure the highest satisfactory level for all NissanNissan
enthusiasts", said Saleh. Both NISAC and NISTEC judges are NissanNissan
certified instructors. Last year's winners were Almoayyed & Sons, Bahrain (NISTEC) and Arabian Automobiles Company, Dubai and Northern Emirates (NISAC). "At NissanNissan
, we know the future depends on the motivation of our people. We want the most talented and motivated people to recognise NissanNissan
as an employer where merit - and merit alone - opens every door", concluded Saleh. - Ends -
