DUBAI -- RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading..., a leading UAE-based Systems Integration firm, has appointed BASA as an exclusive business partner in Iran for its popular GEMS ERP solutions, which provide web-based integration for critical business processes covering manufacturing, point of sale to finance and accounting among others.

The partnership leverages the geographical reach and expertise of BASA in a bid to tap a burgeoning software products and services market, which is expected to grow by 45 per cent in overall volume to an estimated value of $1.2 billion in 2007, according to a report from the Iranian Informatics Companies Association (IRICA).

Under the agreed terms, RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading... will deliver intensive training courses to BASA's team of consultants that will enhance their skills and equip them with the strategies necessary to market the solutions including product presentation and demonstration capabilities. RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading... will also support its Iranian partner in managing the initial business opportunities from product demonstrations to negotiations.

For critical market customisation, BASA will translate all marketing materials as well as user's guide and documentation and user-interface into Farsi. The localisation efforts have been started and are targeted to be finished by the end of the second quarter of 2007.

"BASA has established its position in the market, and we are confident that they will be able to forward our mutual goals. Our teams have previously collaborated on other projects, and we have taken note of the experience and domain expertise of its consultants. The company has keen understanding of infrastructure provisioning, application software implementation services and the importance of support delivery, which are crucial in ensuring quality and customer satisfaction and successfully expanding market reach," said Tapas Roy, COO, RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading....

BASA is a recognised leader in systems integration in the Iranian market, which provides customers optimum solutions through its team of experts in ERP implementation and application software implementation services. Its quality support and delivery have enabled companies to improve productivity and minimise operating costs by utilising an online business management system and integrating business processes such as supply chain management, partner and customer relationships management, human resources, finance and accounting.

"The IT market in Iran is considerable but remains largely untapped with a limited presence of international vendors. Following our research, we have developed our strategies and will keep evolving them to keep pace with shifting demands. Companies are shifting from traditional to integrated management system, and our ERP solutions answer their needs at lower costs. Within a set timeframe, we are targeting to make RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading... a true product company with specialised consultancy and support coming from Dubai," said Navneet Tandon, VP, RaqmiyatRaqmiyatLoading....
