Airline's dedicated trade website to become 'vital tool' for region's agents
"British Airways places a very high value on our relationships with our trade partners," said Anjulika Dutton, British Airways' Trade Sales Manager, Middle East.
"The Middle East remains a very important market for us and one that we are committed to developing and growing in tandem with. British Airways' Speedbird Club is our response to the industry's demands - it will provide a vital tool for agents to gain the required information to deliver the highest level of service possible to our mutual customers".
British Airways' Speedbird Club rolls out across the GCC today offering travel agents a fast and reliable means of communication with the airline, and an important resource in helping the trade partner provide customers with complete support throughout the booking process.
Some of the features include: 24/7 news and information on British Airways products, services and policies; latest updates on prices and promotions; interactive menus and "search" functions, and a link to ba.com, ensuring easily accessible information.
By registering with British Airways Speedbird Club, travel agents have access to a range of additional benefits, such as, special offers for registered users and online training sessions, activities and competitions.
Dutton added: "The interactive 'Search' function and expansive database of 'Frequently Asked Questions' have proven big hits in markets where British Airways Speedbird Club is already operational." Usage is free of charge and travel trade partners can access the website at www.speedbirdclub.com - where dedicated GCC country pages are just a click away.
