Bahrain: Euro Motors debuts new BMW X5 |

yesterday announced the launch of the all new BMW X5 in the Bahrain market. The new BMW X5 brings with it a combination of driving dynamics, function and exclusivity in a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV).With the introduction of this new model, BMW continues to lead the SAV sector through its innovative products and designs, leading up to the BMW X5.
Featuring powerful and refined eight and six cylinder engines mated to a standard 6-gear automatic transmission, the BMW X5 also features BMW xDrive permanent all-wheel drive system and optimized suspension for unmatched agility and handling.

. Two BMW X5 models are on offer - the BMW X5 4.8i and the BMW X5 3.0si, featuring eight-cylinder and six-cylinder engines respectively.
A renewed eight-cylinder engine on the BMW X5 4.8i outputs a maximum of 355 hp and 350-lb of torque between 3,400 and 3,800 rpm. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds means the BMW X5 4.8i sets the standard from the SAV segment, topping out at an electronically limited 240 km/h.
The six-cylinder BMW X5 3.0si is no slouch either. This state-of-the-art engine combines performance and technology to deliver a whopping 272 hp and 232-lb of torque at 2,750rpm, which translates to a 0-100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h.
