The Islamic banking & finance market continues to grow at an exciting pace across the board, with the consumer banking, Shari'ah-compliant investment funds, Islamic leasing products and the corporate & investment banking segments performing exceptionally well. The Real Estate investment market also continues to provide lucrative opportunities for Islamic finance institutions. However, there is increasing pressure on institutions to continue growing and deliver on market expectations. As home markets mature and significant new players continue to enter the space, there is an increasing need for international and regional expansion into new markets that will provide a platform for sustainable growth.
