HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received at his office Mr. Neil Bush founder and CEO of Ignite and the youngest brother of President George W. Bush. The meeting was also attended by a team from KHC, Mr. Ahmad Bin Fahad Altobaishi, Assistant Executive to the Chairman, Ms. Heba Fatani, Executive Manager of the Corporate Communications Department, and from the Protocol Department, Ms. Manal Alshammary and Ms. Roaa Sharaf.
The meeting began as Mr. Bush thanked HRH for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. The purpose of his visit was to congratulate Prince Alwaleed on receiving the prestigious "Legion of Honor" Medal at the Elysée Palace, from the French President, Jacques Chirac.
During the meeting, HRH and Mr. Bush discussed current regional and international social, economic and political issues and recent developments related to their respective countries. Furthermore, Mr. Bush offered his Highness a business proposition related to educational development through his company Ignite!
Ignite! Incorporated is an interactive educational-software company that Mr. Bush co-founded in March 1999. Ignite says its goal is to help students improve their standardized test scores by using multiple intelligence methods. It provides varying types of content to appeal to multiple learning styles and it provides aid in the more difficult subjects like some social sciences, biology, geology, ecology and other general sciences. This non-traditional approach has garnered praise by many of the users to which it is targeted.
The meeting concluded as Mr. Neil Bush thanked HRH for his kind reception and in turn, the Prince wished the CEO luck in his endeavors. HRH also sent his regards to former President Bush Sr. and current President Bush Jr.
