More than 10 International Dentists to represent the latest in Dentistry during the 1st International Orthodontic Meeting

Dubai, 6th March 2010 (WAM) -- The tenth Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM 2010) opened today at the Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel, with more than 6 eminent international experts delivering the latest practices, research and techniques in dentistry.

The DWDM is a high quality pre-course meeting, running parallel to the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai), which is held under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority.

This year, the DWDM will cover the most pressing issues involving dentistry while aiming to provide the best dental care to their patients. The courses will continue until the 8th of March.

Dr. Nasser Malik, Chairman of AEEDC Dubai Conference said "this year, the DWDM program is designed for dentists who aspire to improve themselves and develop their skills in order to meet the commitments of their everyday professional life." He also added that the DWDM 2010 brings together practice, research, and academia and industry leaders from every corner of dental profession. The courses will provide an ideal environment for the entire dental team to participate in sessions led by the leaders from the dental community.

"The DWDM provides the participants of continuing dental education which values over more than 34 hours of programs offered during 3 days." Dr. Nasser added The Dubai World Dental Meeting (DWDM) is a continuing education program organized by Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. – member of Index Holding and in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority.

The DWDM as always will offer quality relevant lectures, outstanding internationally renowned speakers and specially designed courses to meet the needs of the dental professionals, and oral care profession. The DWDM also offers continuing education certificates with credit hours awarded for each course attended.

The scientific program for this year features 6 eminent speakers from Mexico, the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. Topics for this year include Fundamental Strategies for a Successful and Profitable Practice, Infection Control Refresher Course, Anterior and Posterior Composites, Guidelines for the success, Immediate Temporization and Immediate Loading; The Right answers to our patients, The essentials of Endodontics; Understand and Utilize Evidence based concepts to maximize your clinical success.

Dr. Eduardo Mahn, Researcher at the University of M nster and D sseldorf - Germany, and International lecturer at the ICDE (International Center for Dental Education) said "This is my second participation at the DWDM. I already delivered a hands-on course in DWDM 2009, and this year I am also delivering hands on course on the subject (Anterior and Posterior Comosits guidelines for the success)."He continued "I think this meeting is a great opportunity for the dentists of the Middle East and the region to learn from international doctors, as it features key international dental specialists. In addition, the organizers had allocated three different halls where parallel sessions will take place covering a broad spectrum of topics at the same time."In addition, Dr. Eduardo will deliver lectures during the AEEDC Dubai Conference starting from Tuesday 9th, March.

Moreover, the DWDM will feature during the first and second day; the first International Orthodontic Meeting, where Orthodontic specialists will be discussing the core topics in their field. During this meeting, there will be more than 11 speakers from countries including India, Germany, UAE and USA present to discuss; Orthodontics and single tooth implants, the Anesthetic Outcomes of an Orthognatic Surgery, Molar Control in implant, and other related topics.
