Kuwait's Emir receives UAE Balloon team

Kuwait, 9th Dec. 2009 (WAM) -- Emir of Kuwait HH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah received today at Bayan Palace here the team of UAE Balloon led by its President Abdul Aziz Nasser in the presence of Kuwaiti Crown Prince Nawaf Al Sabah.Nasser briefed Sheikh Sabah on his team's programme as part of the GCC balloon's tour of the GCC member states and Europe.Decorated with flags and emblems of GCC member states, the balloon will fly from Kuwait on 11 December to mark the convening of the GCC summit in Kuwait this month.The team's vision is to bring the peaceful message of the United Arab Emirates and its rulers to other countries around the globe using the majesty and dignity of ballooning.
