Contract awarded for phase1 of Khalifa Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah |

Dubai, May 11th, 2008 (WAM) - HE Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, has approved awarding of the first phase of a project to build the Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah.
The 248-bed hospital project, ordered by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is being built at a total cost of AED 600 million. It will offer specialist healthcare services in cardiology, oncology and trauma. It will also have units for emergency, surgery, intensive care and general medical services. The project's first phase entails piling works, power lines and construction of perimeters, roads and gates.
