at this year's Dubai Air Show will showcase a range of advanced commercial and defence products and services designed to meet the needs of customers in the Middle East.

has a strong presence at this year's air show, which has proved over the years to be one of the leading international aerospace events attracting visitors and participants from across the world," said Paul Kinscherff, president, Boeing Middle EastBoeing Middle East

Potential
"The region holds great potential for growth in the aerospace sector including infrastructure expansion, services and financing and aircraft sales. BoeingBoeing
is keen to participate in the ambitious growth plans of this region by providing the right products and services to our customers." On the defence side, the AH-6i light attack/reconnaissance helicopter will mark its international air show debut with a series of VIP flights. BoeingBoeing
will also demonstrate its Vigilare ground-based airborne command and control system. Static displays include a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III airlifter, a US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet, the Royal Australian Air Force's Wedgetail 737 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft, and a US Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle, which will perform in the daily flying display.
On the commercial side, BoeingBoeing
customer Qatar Airways will have a newly delivered BoeingBoeing
777-200LR on static display, and BoeingBoeing
Business Jets will display a customer's BBJ.
BoeingBoeing
will provide business and market updates and emphasise the company's commitment to customers, suppliers and partners in the region.
In addition to hosting a series of briefings on key programmes and issues throughout the show, BoeingBoeing
is co-sponsoring the Middle East Air Chiefs Conference and the Engineering Student of the Year Award. Both events take place on Saturday. Updates and briefing schedules will be available at the Dubai Air Show Press Centre.
