Maroc Telecom 1H Revs +10% To MAD14.31B |

PARIS (Dow Jones)--Maroc TelecomMaroc Telecom
(IAM.CL), the largest mobile operator and only fixed-line operator in Morocco, Tuesday said first-half revenue rose 10%, helped by strong revenue growth at its Moroccan mobile division.
Maroc TelecomMaroc Telecom said revenue for the first half ended June 30 increased to MAD14.31 billion Moroccan dirhams. Comparative figures were not provided.
The Moroccan operator said first half revenue for all activities in Morocco rose 9.8% to MAD12.51 billion, with revenue at its mobile division in Morocco increasing 13% to MAD8.92 billion.
Maroc TelecomMaroc Telecom, which also has operations in Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Gabon, is 53%-owned by entertainment and telecom company Vivendi SA (12777.FR).
Vivendi will report revenue figures after the market closes on July 24.
